What customers say?

“ Absolutely tops , staff are really welcoming n helpful, food is excellent, such a lovely place we go most weeks ”

“ We needed to stop and charge the car, and this place was just around the corner, so we popped in for a quick bite. The place is very small and compact, but they have an outdoor seating area out the front, too. The menu was mainly sandwiches, bagels, toasties, and I think jacket potatoes, I've added a picture of the menu. I think this is a family business, and the place is very nice. I ordered the boss and it was really tasty. My husband had the C amigo, and he enjoyed it. My daughter had a ham and cheese toasties. There was a slight mistake with her order. The waitress didn't ask if she wanted butter or mayo when we ordered. We were asked as it was being made, and we said butter but still got mayo, but they were very good and made her a new one. It was overflowing with ham, and she said it was very good. There was also a slight mix-up with our coffee, but that also got rectified. My husband ordered tea, it was loose tea, which you dont really see anymore, and he said it was the best cuppa he's had. Overall, we all enjoyed what we had, and I would go back. ”

“ We visited here just after Christmas and while we were waiting for our car to charge just up the street. The first thing you noticed is space is limited and if you are looking to dine in a small wait might be required. It was after 12pm so I don’t know if they do breakfast but we were handed a menu with sandwiches, soups, baked potatoes and salads. I had the C-Amigos, the wife had The Real Boss and my daughter had ham & cheese toastie. For drinks I had the tea, which was lovely, and the two girls had coffee. The tea was loose leaf and was really good but the girls had to go back with their coffee as the waitress took the orders down incorrectly. The only hiccup was orders taken incorrectly, so we had to send back our daughters toastie as she asked for butter and no Mayo but it came down the exact opposite, same with the coffee orders for example she asked for a single shot coffee with two shots of caramel and she got a double shot coffee with a single shot of caramel. All that aside, I would go back as these were just human errors and didn’t take away from the quality tasting products available. It is on the expensive side as three sandwiches and tea and coffees cost €34 but as mentioned before everything was real quality and unfortunately prices are skyrocketing everywhere. Worth a visit. ”
